Owner and archaeologist Jennie Deo Shaw received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2008. She has conducted research and participated in field and lab projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, as well as south-central France and Montenegro. She focuses on fuel analysis and the microscopic analyses of carbonized and uncarbonized fuel woods. Jennie has experience designing and conducting ethnographic interviews, as stand-alone or complementary projects to archaeological inquiry.
